Invite a researcher
Write to them in your own words and send it from your own email. The last part of the letter says where their details came from and how to stop invitations; it can't be changed.
This researcher may have died
A check found that this researcher may have died, so no invitation has been made. Please look at what it found. If you agree, nobody will be invited to Communities in their name. If you believe it is wrong, tell us how you know and Heuristic Systems will look at it.
A link and/or a short note. No email addresses or phone numbers.
Fill in the parts in [brackets].
Added to every invitation
The link works once and is shown only now. Drafting again makes a new link and the old one stops working. Their page says "preparing" until their network is ready.
Invite someone by email
For someone who isn't in the public research record, or whose address you have. "From my email" opens your own mail app; the address stays on this page and never reaches Communities. "Send through Communities" passes the address to our mail service to send, and it isn't kept.
Ask a member to introduce you
A member who knows them can pass your invitation on. If they haven't answered in 3 days, you can invite directly.

You are an anchor researcher: members are steered to you for introductions, and their requests appear under "Asked to introduce" above.
My invitations
An invitation nobody has used yet can be cancelled: its link then says it was withdrawn, and the row stays here. The list updates by itself when someone you invited says they're interested or joins.
